All About Cellucci
Robert Celllucci is a touring country music artist mainly based on the east coast of the United States. His Musical Journey all started in middle school when we was forced into enrolling in the only elective class available at the time of his enrollment "Chorus". Unaware of his ability to sing wasn't all of of that surprising until he found himself surrounded by and singing with females as an Alto his first year. It wasn't until his freshman year of high school that he finally made it to the Tenor seat with the guys. Finally to making Baritone his permanent home until graduating in 2006. Senior year the young star landed what would be the next big stepping stone in his upcoming the opportunity to perform in Off Broadway Shows for North Carolina Theater. Either playing a lead role or ensemble character he made a name for himself. He was referred by late owner Wally to go to New York and actually perform on Broadway. Unfortunately he never made it instead he was preparing to be a Father at the time. With kids mother Kelly Reed he would now be a Dad to his first son Jordan Riley Cellucci in August of 2009. With the added responsibility and time now needed to be a father he realized work was more important than music to provide for his family. Becoming a manager for Papa Johns only after two weeks of his initial employment. He fell into a place of his life where he was comfortable in making life work financially but emotionally displeased he wasn't able to do the one thing he loved most "singing and performing". It wasn't until 2011 after reuniting with a close friend from high school, that he picked up the guitar. The two sang all through chorus and even the Musicals together. Finding all the free time they could now to just get together and create music his friend helped in introducing the guitar and purchasing one. It took some hours and days of missed chords and frustration, along with blistering fingers, until the feeling of playing the guitar became something he could do in his sleep now. "It was my escape from everything and anything, I felt alive just playing and singing. Like my life had purpose and brought back the feeling I had being on those stages performing." he admitted with such passion. He started off with playing alternative music until one day his mom said, " Son play some country, we are Country folk around here." Growing up with horses and living on farms it was very much all he'd ever listen to being at home with family. He took his moms advice and naturally fell in love with the genre. Before the Passing of his Father in 2012 the times he had spent with him was reconfirmed by his dad that he was born to sing and play guitar. His father would assure everyone that he came in contact with that his son was going to make a lot of money playing and singing that guitar but most importantly how the music moves people. Which brings us today and how music plays such a big part of life for the rising artist.
When thinking about being a traveling artist he feels that there is pressure around being a country music singer but somehow he found out that he was born into it. It comes extremely naturally to him and it’s something that truly brings him joy. Being up on the stage and being on live-streaming comes like second nature and when he is on tour with the band, the entire atmosphere becomes electric and magnetic. It becomes an entire experience and no show is ever the same!
